The culmination of Fall colors reflecting in a beautiful mountain lake along with a waterfall is simply irresistible to me, and that describes Lake Sequoyah in Highlands, NC to a T. I originally captured a great photo of this same scene in 2003 on a lucky shot that has won me quite a few awards. For the last four years, I've gone back attempting to get an even better shot of this scene, seeing that my photography skills have improved dramatically since the original shot. When I clicked the shutter button on this one, I had the feeling that I had just accomplished that goal
I love the beautiful world God created. I'm like Indiana Jones on a treasure quest when hunting for my photos in the GA/SC/NC triangle. "Capturing the beauty of the moment" sums up the essence of my photography.
