Description
In 1885 W.W. King, son of a former slave, built this covered bridge over the South Fork Broad River just out side of Comer Georgia. It is Georgia's longest existing covered bridge of the Town lattice type, with four spans and is 236 feet long. It was restored in 1973 and is still used, serving as the nucleus for the surrounding Watson Mill Bridge State Park.
